Connecting the Dots Between Culture and Education

About Camden Spark

We are Camden’s Cultural Education Partnership (CEP), an Arts Council England initiative to bring schools together to work in partnership with their local cultural organisations.

Starting in 2012 as the Camden Cultural Commissioning Model, we became an independent organisation in September 2015, and a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in March 2017, led strategically by a Board of Trustees drawn from the borough’s schools and cultural organisations, Music Service, Camden Council and Camden Learning.

We work closely with other sector support organisations to secure a strong cultural education offer for the borough’s children and young people, and actively engage in a network of over 100 LCEPs nationally.

All children and young people in Camden will benefit from a powerful cultural education and have equitable access to the fantastic creative assets of Camden and London
